Jersey and Volunteer deposits are collected as post dated cheque and refunded in March once jerseys are returned and volunteer hours are completed.
NWVRA offers the following groupings in 2025-2026

- Open (NWVRA is exploring creating an Open team. This is a competitive group for players 19 and over who want to continue playing Ringette in a Fun and competitive environment)
Our goal is to ensure that every player has a spot on a team. Parents are strongly encouraged to register early to avoid disappointment! Tell your players to bring a friend, no experience is necessary for your child to join and become a ringette player. Its a better deal than skating lessons, your child will be up and skating immediately and will amaze you with their improvement after only a few practices. Join us and play the fastest game on ice!
Payments
NWVRA offers payment via credit card on the Ramp registration site.
Early bird payment options:
We have added an installment option as an incentive to register early. From June 1- July 15, installments can be made by paying $100 at registration and the remaining amount split between September 1 and Oct 1. Registration after July 15 will split the payments into two: 50% at registration and 50% on Oct 1.
Refund Policy
Refunds of registration fees before Labour Day will consist of your registration fee minus a $25 processing fee.
Refunds of registration fees after Labour Day will be allowed up until December 1st of each season and will consist of your registration fee minus 25% per month, plus a $25 processing fee.
For example:
- refund June 1-Sept 4 = 100% of registration fee - $25
- refund in Sept after Labour Day = 75% of registration fee - $25
- refund in Oct = 50% of registration fee - $25
- refund in Nov = 25% of registration fee - $25
All cancellation requests must be in writing and to the attention of the NWVRA Registrar at registrar@nwvra.ca.
Financial Assistance
Sometimes, families need financial assistance to get their kids into a sport or physical activities. Three programs - Jumpstart, Kidsport and Athletics for Kids are available to help subsidize registration fees. These programs require applications, so please reach out to them as soon as possible to begin the process. The process is as follows - you will apply to the program, after approval they will send a cheque to NWVRA, and NWVRA will reimburse you by cheque for registration fees. Please inform the Registrar and/or Treasurer if you have applied for financial assistance. These programs may or may not cover the entire portion of the registration fee. Families must pay the difference, please discuss with the Registrar and Treasurer.
In addition to the registration fees, there may be extra fees required throughout the season, as decided upon by the team. Teams may choose to participate in tournaments. These tournaments are not covered in the NWVRA registration fee. If financial help is needed to pay for these extra-curricular fees, please contact the Registrar.
