The Vancouver Skating Club offers in-season power skating courses on the North Shore (Canlan Ice Sports and Karen Magnussen) and East Vancouver (Agridome) for hockey and ringette players from 5 years old and up.

High-performance power skating courses are offered at the North Shore Winter Club, at an extra fee for non-members.  These courses are generally geared toward hockey players, but ringette players are welcome.

Game Skills

Each summer, the National Ringette School (NRS) offers week-long ringette camps across Canada, focussed on skating, game skills and strategy, athletic performance and teamwork.

There are many other formal and informal ways and opportunities for players to improve their skills.  Players and parents should check with their coaches and team managers for more ideas and information.
