April 8 to June 10, at West Vancouver Arena

Update to Age Groups. We are pleased to announce that we can coordinate having a larger age range for players on the ice.  We have expanded the age range for the 7:05-8:00 ice time.  If there are sufficient kids, we will be coordinating the difference in skill by having the younger newer players on one third of the ice and the more experienced on the other two thirds.  We look forward to having all the kids out enjoying themselves and building new skills!

North West Vancouver Ringette is excited to offer its Spring Ring Program again this year. This program is sanctioned and insured through Ringette BC and offers NWVRA players 10 sessions of ringette development on Friday nights from April 8 – June 10 at the West Vancouver Arena. Sessions will include instruction on ring defence, checking, shooting, passing, skating skills and more, followed by a fun scrimmage (COVID rules permitting).  This year, we are bringing in additional instructors for players who want a more intense program as well as some dedicated clinics for shooting, passing breakouts and goaltending.

For Instruction this year we will be mixing things up a little.  As with last year, Andrea will be leading the program with the support of Briana, Kailey Magrath and others.  Stay tuned for a full list of coaches.

Andrea Lowe has been coaching for 15 years and is Competition Introduction (CI) certified. She also coached in the LMRL AA Program for 4 years and was part of the coaching team that won gold for Zone 5 at the 2018 BCWG team. Andrea is currently the Head Coach of the U16 club team and Assistant coach for the U19 Zone 3 team. She has coached at all levels with the North West Vancouver Ringette Association and has also coached with the Burnaby New Westminster Association at the Zone level.

Brianna Bisaillon has played ringette since she was 4 years old, she currently plays with the U-19 Zone 3 team. Brianna has played at the AA level where she won silver at the Westerns Championship and gold at the Provincial Championship several times. She was also a part of the gold medal winning team at the BCWG in 2018. She has been helping/coaching since she was 9 years old. She has progressed from an on-ice helper to current Assistant coach on the U-16 Community team. She is Competition Introduction (CI) trained and is aiming for her certification.

Kailey Magrath is a Competition Introduction (CI) certified coach who has worked with athletes from the U10 to the U19 division. This year she was involved in coaching the U16 Zone 3 team, Excellence Ringette Program, as well as coaching with the U19 Team BC Program. Over the course of her 16 years in ringette, Kailey has attended multiple Canadian Ringette Championships, the Canada Winter Games, and is currently a member of the Richmond Open team.
